Money Market
A money market account is a type of savings account offered by Lexington FCU just like regular savings accounts. The difference is that they pay higher interest, have minimum balance requirements , and only allow six withdrawals per month.
Money Market Accounts enable you to earn a higher rate of interest (than regular savings) on your deposits!
LAFCU offers two levels of Money Markets;
Regular Money Market (requires a minimum $1000 on deposit)
High Interest Money Market (requires over $15,000 on deposit)
IRA Money Markets are also available
*deposits are insured to $250,000
